Honolulu City Lights Parade,
City and County, 2005.

King Kamehameha the Great, (1756-1819) Hawaii's warrior king, his right hand is extended in a welcoming gesture of aloha. There are three other statues: one in Statuary Hall; Washington, D.C. The original at the king’s birthplace in Kapaau and a 14-foot Hilo statue. The original statue was created in Rome in 1879, cast in bronze in Paris and shipped from Germany.

The following pictures are of the 21st year celebration of 'Honolulu City Lights' parade and festival by the City and County of Honolulu and 'Friends of City Lights.'
